This year we were able to collect blankets and sleeping bag donations from countless individuals to provide to our local homeless community in Arizona. 63 individuals were blessed with these items this year and we were also able to provide them with a meal.
Help us collect blankets and sleeping bags early for our 2024 winter blanket drive. Our goal is to collect a 100 of these items to continue to give back to our community for another year.
100 pairs of shoes were donated to A New Leaf in Mesa, AZ.

I would like to say Thank you to all that came out to support me.

I was invited to Ms. Stephanie's 12-Step Study Group. I went with the mindset of it being a drug & alcohol recovery group, which I was wrong, it wasn’t that at all. We went right into Ms. Stephanie asking us "Who are you" many couldn't say who they were other than a woman, or a mother etc. Ms. Stephanie wanted us to go deeper in talking about who we believe we are and what we believe our purpose for being here on this earth. I learned many things throughout the group about myself. One of the things that stood out the most to me was that I am "Powerless" over many things. I would highly recommend this women's group. With a wonderful instructor a sure Woman of God.

Stephanie is an amazing lady, with a beautiful spirit, and Christian love for life. I was introduced to her, in the fall of 2017, when she started her new job at The Salvation Army Family Services in Phoenix. I knew immediately that we were of one accord. As we got to know one another, we became friends fast. She is my prayer warrior! We often start the beginning of our work day with prayer. We share each other's special intentions, and ask God to lead the way. At any point in the day, we are able to "stop, drop and pray". She is calming presence to me. She is now, and ever will be, my loving sister in Christ.

I remember the day I got to the Salvation Army I was so scared, tired, and just wanted to sleep. I remember Stephanie the house mom greeted me and got me all settled in, from the first time I saw Ms. Stephanie I knew this was the place. She was the most welcoming person you could ever meet. I remember how she would tell us stories of her adventures and we would laugh because some of the stories were hilarious. I really enjoyed being around her and told her my story of how I came to the Salvation Army, she listened to me wiped my tears, listen to my cries, understood me, I was so broken, and she showed me the love of God. I really felt at peace being around her I came to believe in a higher power of my own understanding. Today I celebrate 8 years of Sobriety. Thanks to Stephanie and the Salvation Army. She showed me the path to a better life.
